Vitremer is a glass ionomer core build-up and restorative material with patented Triple Curing Technology. Patented triple curing technology &ndash Light-curing, chemical curing, and additive glass ionomer setting reaction. Highly aesthetic due to 7 standard and 2 special shades.
Vitremer core buildup/restorative is recommended for use with Vitremer primer, a
one part, visible light cure cavity primer. Its function is to adequately wet the bonding
surfaces to facilitate adhesion of the glass ionomer. In use, the primer is dispensed,
applied, air dried and light cured. Adequately air drying and then light curing the primer
separately before placement of the glass ionomer maximizes adhesion of the glass
ionomer to tooth structure particularly when the glass ionomer is placed in bulk.
Versatile system can be light-cured or self-cured to meet your application needs.
Unique dark-cure chemistry allows for bulk placement which eliminates the need for layering and saves time.
Displays a true glass ionomer cure for long-term fluoride release and adhesion to tooth structure which provides better patient protection and increased doctor confidence.
As a restorative material, it provides good handling properties and extended working time in the mouth for easier use.
